To An Aeolian Harp Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBADEFDGF

The winds have grown articulate in theeA
And voiced again the wail of ancient woeB
That smote upon the winds of long agoB
The cries of Trojan women as they fleeA
The quivering moan of pale AndromacheC
Now lifted loud with pain and now brought lowB
It is the soul of sorrow that we knowB
As in a shell the soul of all the seaA
So sometimes in the compass of a songD
Unknown to him who sings thro' lips that liveE
The voiceless dead of long forgotten landsF
Proclaim to us their heaviness and wrongD
In sweeping sadness of the winds that giveG
Thy strings no rest from weariless wild handsF
