To A Picture Of Eleanor Duse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEECD

Was ever any face like this beforeA
So light a veiling for the soul withinB
So pure and yet so pitiful for sinB
They say the soul will pass the Heavy DoorA
And yearning upward learn creation's loreA
The body buried 'neath the earthly dinB
But thine shall live forever it hath beenB
So near the soul and shall be evermoreA
Oh eyes that see so far thro' misted tearsC
Oh Death behold these eyes can never dieD
Yea tho' your kiss shall rob these lips of breathE
Their faint sad smile will still elude thee DeathE
Behold the perfect flower this neck uprearsC
And bow thy head and pass the wonder byD
