The Fountain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEDGHGIJKJDLEL

Oh in the deep blue nightA
The fountain sang aloneB
It sang to the drowsy heartC
Of a satyr carved in stoneB
The fountain sang and sangD
But the satyr never stirredE
Only the great white moonF
In the empty heaven heardE
The fountain sang and sangD
And on the marble rimG
The milk white peacocks sleptH
Their dreams were strange and dimG
Bright dew was on the grassI
And on the ilex dewJ
The dreamy milk white birdsK
Were all a glisten tooJ
The fountain sang and sangD
The things one cannot tellL
The dreaming peacocks stirredE
And the gleaming dew drops fellL
