Testament Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKBK

I said I will take my lifeA
And throw it awayB
I who was fire and songC
Will turn to clayB
-
I will lie no more in the nightD
With shaken breathE
I will toss my heart in the airF
To be caught by DeathE
-
But out of the night I heardG
Like the inland sound of the seaH
The hushed and terrible sobI
Of all humanityH
-
Then I said Oh who am IJ
To scorn God to his faceK
I will bow my head and stayB
And suffer with my raceK
