Swans Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

Night is over the park and a few brave starsA
Look on the lights that link it with chains of goldB
The lake bears up their reflection in broken barsA
That seem too heavy for tremulous water to holdB
-
We watch the swans that sleep in a shadowy placeC
And now and again one wakes and uplifts its headD
How still you are your gaze is on my faceC
We watch the swans and never a word is saidD
