Spring Rain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGFHDIDCEJEABCD

I thought I had forgottenA
But it all came back againB
To night with the first spring thunderC
In a rush of rainD
I remembered a darkened doorwayE
Where we stood while the storm swept byF
Thunder gripping the earthG
And lightning scrawled on the skyF
The passing motor busses swayedH
For the street was a river of rainD
Lashed into little golden wavesI
In the lamp light's stainD
With the wild spring rain and thunderC
My heart was wild and gayE
Your eyes said more to me that nightJ
Than your lips would ever sayE
I thought I had forgottenA
But it all came back againB
To night with the first spring thunderC
In a rush of rainD
