Spring In War Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBB DEFEE GHIHH JKLKK

I feel the Spring far off far offA
The faint far scent of bud and leafB
Oh how can Spring take heart to comeC
To a world in griefB
Deep griefB
-
The sun turns north the days grow longD
Later the evening star grows brightE
How can the daylight linger onF
For men to fightE
Still fightE
-
The grass is waking in the groundG
Soon it will rise and blow in wavesH
How can it have the heart to swayI
Over the gravesH
New gravesH
-
Under the boughs where lovers walkedJ
The apple blooms will shed their breathK
But what of all the lovers nowL
Parted by deathK
Gray DeathK
