Sea Longing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCADDAEFFEFE

A thousand miles beyond this sun steeped wallA
Somewhere the waves creep cool along the sandB
The ebbing tide forsakes the listless landB
With the old murmur long and musicalC
The windy waves mount up and curve and fallA
And round the rocks the foam blows up like snowD
Tho' I am inland far I hear and knowD
For I was born the sea's eternal thrallA
I would that I were there and over meE
The cold insistence of the tide would rollF
Quenching this burning thing men call the soulF
Then with the ebbing I should drift and beE
Less than the smallest shell along the shoalF
Less than the sea gulls calling to the seaE
