Pity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EAE A

They never saw my lover's faceA
They only know our love was briefB
Wearing awhile a windy graceA
And passing like an autumn leafB
-
They wonder why I do not weepC
They think it strange that I can singD
They say Her love was scarcely deepC
Since it has left so slight a stingD
-
They never saw my love nor knewE
That in my heart's most secret placeA
I pity them as angels doE
-
Men who have never seen God's faceA
