Pierrot's Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCCDDCECEFF

For a picture by Duncan WalkerA
-
Lady light in the east hangs lowB
Draw your veils of dream apartC
Under the casement stands PierrotC
Making a song to ease his heartC
Yet do not break the song too soonD
I love to sing in the paling moonD
The petals are falling heavy with dewC
The stars have fainted out of the skyE
Come to me come or else I tooC
Faint with the weight of love will dieE
She comes alas I hoped to makeF
Another stanza for her sakeF
