Moonlight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAC DBADA

It will not hurt me when I am oldA
A running tide where moonlight burnedB
Will not sting me like silver snakesC
The years will make me sad and coldA
It is the happy heart that breaksC
-
The heart asks more than life can giveD
When that is learned then all is learnedB
The waves break fold on jewelled foldA
But beauty itself is fugitiveD
It will not hurt me when I am oldA
