Four Winds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGG

Four winds blowing thro' the skyA
You have seen poor maidens dieA
Tell me then what I shall doB
That my lover may be trueB
Said the wind from out the southC
Lay no kiss upon his mouthC
And the wind from out the westD
Wound the heart within his breastD
And the wind from out the eastE
Send him empty from the feastE
And the wind from out the northF
In the tempest thrust him forthF
When thou art more cruel than heG
Then will Love be kind to theeG
