Crowned Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEECD

I wear a crown invisible and clearA
And go my lifted royal way apartB
Since you have crowned me softly in your heartB
With love that is half ardent half austereA
And as a queen disguised might pass anearA
The bitter crowd that barters in a martB
Veiling her pride while tears of pity startB
I hide my glory thru a jealous fearA
My crown shall stay a sweet and secret thingC
Kept pure with prayer at evensong and mornD
And when you come to take it from my headE
I shall not weep nor will a word be saidE
But I shall kneel before you oh my kingC
And bind my brow forever with a thornD
