Alone Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGF HIJI

I am alone in spite of loveA
In spite of all I take and giveB
In spite of all your tendernessC
Sometimes I am not glad to liveD
-
I am alone as though I stoodE
On the highest peak of the tired gray worldF
About me only swirling snowG
Above me endless space unfurledF
-
With earth hidden and heaven hiddenH
And only my own spirit's prideI
To keep me from the peace of thoseJ
Who are not lonely having diedI
