To A Young Lady. On Her Recovery From A Fever Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAC DDEDE FFFFF GGEGE

Why need I say Louisa dearA
How glad I am to see you hereB
A lovely convalescentC
Risen from the bed of pain and fearA
And feverish heat incessantC
-
The sunny showers the dappled skyD
The little birds that warble highD
Their vernal loves commencingE
Will better welcome you than ID
With their sweet influencingE
-
Believe me while in bed you layF
Your danger taught us all to prayF
You made us grow devouterF
Each eye looked up and seemed to sayF
How can we do without herF
-
Besides what vexed us worse we knewG
They have no need of such as youG
In the place where you were goingE
This World has angels all too fewG
And Heaven is overflowingE
