Lines To A Beautiful Spring In A Village Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHHIIJJ KKLLMMKKNNOP

Once more sweet stream with slow foot wand'ring nearA
I bless thy milky waters cold and clearA
Escaped the flashing of the noontide hoursB
With one fresh garland of Pierian flowersB
Ere from thy zephyr haunted brink I turnC
My languid hand shall wreath thy mossy urnC
For not thro' pathless grove with murmur rudeD
Then soothest the sad wood nymph solitudeD
Nor thine unseen in cavern depths to wellE
The hermit fountain of some dripping cellE
Pride of the vale thy useful streams supplyF
The scattered cots and peaceful hamlet nighF
The elfin tribe around thy friendly banksG
With infant uproar and soul soothing pranksG
Released from school their little hearts at restH
Launch paper navies on thy waveless breastH
The rustic here at eve with pensive lookI
Whistling lorn ditties leans upon his crookI
Or starting pauses with hope mingled dreadJ
To list the much loved maid's accustom'd treadJ
She vainly mindful of her dame's commandK
Loiters the long filled pitcher in her handK
Unboastful stream thy fount with pebbled fallsL
The faded form of past delight recallsL
What time the morning sun of hope aroseM
And all was joy save when another's woesM
A transient gloom upon my soul imprestK
Like passing clouds impictured on thy breastK
Life's current then ran sparkling to the noonN
Or silvery stole beneath the pensive moonN
Ah now it works rude brakes and thorns amongO
Or o'er the rough rock bursts and foams alongP
