A Day Dream Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDECC FGFGHI JEJEKK LMLMEE NONOHI

My eyes make pictures when they're shutA
I see a fountain large and fairB
A Willow and a ruined HutA
And thee and me and Mary thereB
O Mary make thy gentle lap our pillowC
Bend o'er us like a bower my beautiful green WillowC
-
A wild rose roofs the ruined shedD
And that and summer well agreeE
And lo where Mary leans her headD
Two dear names carved upon the treeE
And Mary's tears they are not tears of sorrowC
Our sister and our friend will both be here to morrowC
-
'Twas Day But now few large and brightF
The stars are round the crescent moonG
And now it is a dark warm NightF
The balmiest of the month of JuneG
A glow worm fallen and on the marge remountingH
Shines and its shadow shines fit stars for our sweet fountainI
-
O ever ever be thou blestJ
For dearly Asra love I theeE
This brooding warmth across my breastJ
This depth of tranquil bliss ah meE
Fount Tree and Shed are gone I know not whitherK
But in one quiet room we three are still togetherK
-
The shadows dance upon the wallL
By the still dancing fire flames madeM
And now they slumber moveless allL
And now they melt to one deep shadeM
But not from me shall this mild darkness steal theeE
I dream thee with mine eyes and at my heart I feel theeE
-
Thine eyelash on my cheek doth playN
'Tis Mary's hand upon my browO
But let me check this tender layN
Which none may hear but she and thouO
Like the still hive at quiet midnight hummingH
Murmur it to yourselves ye two beloved womenI
