Written In A Sick Chamber Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

There in that bed so closely curtain'd roundA
Worn to a shade and wan with slow decayB
A father sleeps Oh hush'd be every soundA
Soft may we breathe the midnight hours awayB
-
He stirs yet still he sleeps May heavenly dreamsC
Long o'er his smooth and settled pillow riseD
Till thro' the shutter'd pane the morning streamsC
And on the hearth the glimmering rush light diesD
