My memory fails me and I betray it | C |
So much time has gone will be gone and continues to be gone | D |
The rain sun and snow fade into night and day | E |
The seasons are always the same | F |

I used to be so strong and bold | G |
I thought of myself to be able to be both warm and cold | G |
But time has broken my strength and shied my boldness | H |
My warn and cold has made me weak no paradox can continue to exist | I |

I once was this great rock who broke off from this greater mountain | J |
But with time the world around me and the world within me | B |
I became just a stone and some patches of dirt | K |
It took some time but here I am close to nothing | L |
I should have valued more the former I the world around and my strong and bold | G |

Omar Combie: I liked the symbolic use of the stone to represent people. I agree that no matter how great the mountain any of us is, we all eventually return to dust by the hands of time.
