| eight legged bastard Calling a spider | L |
| a fox cut no ice with us And Dad kept catching | C |
| him in the spider jar amp tossing him | M |
| into the backyard saying he should be outside | H |
| hunting rats amp taking his chances with the cat | N |
| Out you go quick smart | O |
| For weeks this went on Dad with excuses like | P |
| spiders belong under rocks or what if | Q |
| it scares the kids But we weren't scared | R |

| Huntsmen should be out hunting Dad announced | S |
| catching the poor cheeky bastard by surprise | T |
| in the spider jar and letting him outside | H |
| But that night after Dad had been smoking the | U |
| spider was back inhaling the blue air | V |
| The cheeky bastard beckoned with his front legs | W |
| follow me and demonstrated the webbed traps | X |
| 'round the house with trapped flies moths amp mozzies | X |
