Revolving Doors Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GH II HE

O wild night of the soulA
I clean my lungs with cigarettesB
-
See through a view between the buildingsC
to the mountains where snow falls quietlyD
-
The last chilled apples harvested are sweetE
and the Batlow cider presses work overtimeF
-
Cowra's Christmas beetles hibernateG
like northern bearsH
-
winter's chill holds the landI
the red rock still like a closed handI
-
above the heart sheep wake up to dingosH
No invasion the Country sold out under our feetE
