The Quesion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FGFH IJKJ LALA ABABAB

Brethren how shall it fare with meA
When the war is laid asideB
If it be proven that I am heA
For whom a world has diedB
-
If it be proven that all my goodC
And the greater good I will makeD
Were purchased me by a multitudeE
Who suffered for my sakeD
-
That I was delivered by mere mankindF
Vowed to one sacrificeG
And not as I hold them battle blindF
But dying with open eyesH
-
That they did not ask me to draw the swordI
When they stood to endure their lotJ
That they only looked to me for a wordK
And I answered I knew them notJ
-
If it be found when the battle clearsL
Their death has set me freeA
Then how shall I live with myself through the yearsL
Which they have bought for meA
-
Brethren how must it fare with meA
Or how am I justifiedB
If it be proven that I am heA
For whom mankind has diedB
If it be proven that I am heA
Who being questioned deniedB
