green sprigs berries bright as blood | M |

and that was how they left her | K |
wearing a crown unburied | M |
knowing they'd never hunt here | O |
or build a cabin where she | B |
undressed left their world as death | P |
closed around her like a room | Q |
and she lay dying on the snow | R |
a bride awaiting her groom | Q |
