The Trouble With Snowmen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GD HIJK LJMJ NOPO QRCR

'The trouble with snowmen 'A
Said my father one yearB
'They are no sooner madeC
than they just disappearB
-
I'll build you a snowmanD
And I'll build it to lastE
Add sand and cementF
And then have it castE
-
And so every winter '-
He went on to explainG
'You shall have a snowmanD
Be it sunshine or rain '-
-
And that snowman still standsH
Though my father is goneI
Out there in the gardenJ
Like an unmarked gravestoneK
-
Staring up at the houseL
Gross and misshapenJ
As if waiting for somethingM
Bad to happenJ
-
For as the years passN
And I grow olderO
When summers seem shortP
And winters colderO
-
The snowmen I envyQ
As I watch children playR
Are the ones that are madeC
And then fade awayR
