Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGH IIJCKLMNOJC PQJRBOO

A millionbillionwillion miles from homeA
Waiting for the bell to go To go whereB
Why are they all so big other childrenC
So noisy So much at home theyD
Must have been born in uniformE
Lived all their lives in playgroundsF
Spent the years inventing gamesG
That don't let me in GamesG
That are rough that swallow you upH
-
And the railingsI
All around the railingsI
Are they to keep out wolves and monstersJ
Things that carry off and eat childrenC
Things you don't take sweets fromK
Perhaps they're to stop us getting outL
Running away from the lessins LessinM
What does a lessin look likeN
Sounds small and slimyO
They keep them in the glassroomsJ
Whole rooms made out of glass ImagineC
-
I wish I could remember my nameP
Mummy said it would come in usefulQ
Like wellies When there's puddlesJ
Yellowwellies I wish she was hereR
I think my name is sewn on somewhereB
Perhaps the teacher will read it for meO
Tea cher The one who makes the teaO
