The guns are silent all | F |
Yet we with pride recall | F |
The deeds which gave it immortality | B |
Great deeds are deathless things | G |
The doer dies but not the deed | H |
And when upon that fateful April day | A |
Our Anzacs throwing all but love away | A |
Gave life and limb for Honour's sake | I |
With Freedom tremblingly at stake | I |
They lit a beacon light | J |
Imperishable bright | J |
That evermore the Nation's soul shall heed | H |
Not Peace not Peace alone | K |
Can make a nation great and good | L |
And bring it that full stature strength and grace | M |
That fit it for an age enduring place | M |
In men's regard Through storm and strife | N |
It runs to sweet and noble life | N |
For through its veins there runs | O |

Made sacred by the thrilling thought | P |
