That circles ceaselessly | B |
Stars in the sky and sister stars | C |
Turn in your eyes and see | B |

Tides of the sea that rise and fall | D |
Aheave from Pole to Pole | E |
And kindred swayings veiled but felt | F |
That noise along the soul | E |
- | |
Yon moon noon rich high throned remote | G |
And pale with pride extreme | H |
Draws up the sea but what white moon | I |
Exalts the tide of Dream | H |

The Fisher Folk who cast their nets | J |
In Vision s golden tide | K |
Oft bring to light misshapen shells | L |
And nothing worth beside | K |

And so their worn hands droop adown | I |
Their singing throats are dumb | M |
The Inner Deep withholds its pearls | N |
Till turn of tide be come | M |

But patience wait the good tide turns | O |
The waters inward set | P |
And lo behold aleap alive | Q |
With glowing fish the net | P |

O Toilers of the Hidden Seas | R |
Ye have strange gain and loss | S |
Dragging the Deeps of Soul for pearls | N |
And ofttimes netting dross | S |
- | |
Flushed to the lips with golden light | T |
And dark with sable gloom | U |
Thrilled by a thousand melodies | R |
And silent like a tomb | U |
- | |
Fierce are the winds across your realm | V |
As though some Demon veiled | W |
Had loosed the gales of Spirit land | X |
To ravage ways unsailed | X |
- | |
But still sweet hours befall at times | Y |
Rich lit and full of ease | R |
The afterglow is like the light | X |
Of sunset on tired seas | R |
- | |
And worse perhaps may be the lot | X |
Of those whose fate is sleep | Z |
The sodden souls without a tide | X |
Dense as a rotten deep | Z |
- | |
Pain paves the way for keener joy | A2 |
And wondrous thoughts uproll | E |
When the large moon of Peace looks down | I |
On high tide in the soul | E |
