SING out and be happyA
The Spring is at handB
The grass green and sappyA
The trees o' the landB
Sing for the breeze isC
Rustling and silkyA
And toys with and teasesC
Long blossoms and milkyA
The root in the juicesD
Unfrosted drinks deepA
The loving wave sluicesD
The weeds as they sleepA
Sing out for the bees inE
Their quest of wild honeyA
Are haunting the trees inE
Green places and sunnyA
Distant blue reachesD
And green hills inviteF
Green hills and long beachesD
And roads red and whiteF
Locked waters are callingG
With many gold voicesD
Where tides gently fallingG
Make soft liquid noisesD
Broad spreading sun glamourH
Wraps blossom and streamI
Gold tinting the armourH
Of beetles that dreamI
Full sunned on lit ledgesD
The bronze lizard dozesD
And painting proud ridgesD
Grow tiny pink rosesD
Sing out and let troubleJ
Another pursueD
It will burst like a bubbleJ
And vanish for youD
Out out on old SorrowK
Who skulks in her sableJ
Laugh gaily and borrowK
Gay laughs while you're ableJ
If any care ranklesD
Away and beholdL
Pink feet and white anklesD
On beaches of goldL
And surf that runs afterH
To kiss clinging dressesD
And white teeth and laughterH
And wild clinging tressesD
