At Her Door Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGFHBIDJKLMANOD PQRQAKSDTBUBVDDDWNPN

OPEN Open OpenA
I am here at your door outsideB
The sea's blue tide flows speedilyC
And ebbs a thin red tide 'D
The woman rose from her warm white bedE
Threw back her hair and smiledF
The ears of scorn heard the words of loveG
And the wind and the words were wildF
'Wake Awake AwakeH
And hearken the woe outsideB
The moon is hid in cloudinessI
Calleth and calleth the tide 'D
The woman stood in the silence stillJ
As a thing men carve from stoneK
Her eyes burned largely in the darkL
And the smile like a stain stayed onM
'Listen Listen ListenA
Hear you the rain to nightN
A warm dark rain is falling tooO
And I grow ghostly white 'D
The woman took three steps and bowedP
The smile waned from her lipQ
She heard the dripping of the rainR
And a soft thick other dripQ
'Open Open OpenA
I die in the dark aloneK
My voice goes up in wearinessS
Against your heart of stone 'D
The moon to a cloud cleft stealingT
Gazed down on the yearning tideB
The woman opened the streaming doorU
And stood in the rain outsideB
Silence Stillness She whispersV
'Ah Love that death should be 'D
He sighed 'Your lips are loveliness 'D
And she sobbed 'Woe is me 'D
The woman pressed his dead white faceW
With her face as deadly whiteN
The moon drew in behind a cloudP
And the tide moaned through the nightN
