An Empty Room Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFAGAGHIHI

'THIS is the room where Pinksie died'A
So runs the writing there on the wallB
The world outside is a golden tideA
Of light but here the shadows fallB
And who was Pinksie a babe or wifeC
A girl I think in her laughing teensD
Who passed away from the feast of lifeC
When boys and girls are kings and queensD
I like to think that she laughed at whilesE
Her eyes alight with the imps of funF
And knew no sorrow but such as smilesE
The moment after the hurt is doneF
They named her Pinksie I have no doubtA
Because of the rich soft blush she woreG
The roses paled ere they bore her outA
A slim child figure through yonder doorG
She passed in the joy of her early bloomH
To wide dark realms where no planets rollI
And I write these lines in the empty roomH
Where Pinksie died God rest her soulI
