Sonnet 07 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBCDDEFFGHIHI

to the evening rainbowA
-
-
Mild arch of promise on the evening skyB
Thou shinest fair with many a lovely rayC
Each in the other melting Much mine eyeB
Delights to linger on thee for the dayC
Changeful and many weather'd seem'd to smileD
Flashing brief splendor thro' its clouds awhileD
That deepen'd dark anon and fell in rainE
But pleasant is it now to pause and viewF
Thy various tints of frail and watery hueF
And think the storm shall not return againG
Such is the smile that Piety bestowsH
On the good man's pale cheek when he in peaceI
Departing gently from a world of woesH
Anticipates the realm where sorrows ceaseI
