Inscription Ii. For A Column At Newbury Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFCCGCHC

Art thou a Patriot Traveller on this fieldA
Did FALKLAND fall the blameless and the braveB
Beneath a Tyrant's banners dost thou boastC
Of loyal ardor HAMBDEN perish'd hereD
The rebel HAMBDEN at whose glorious nameE
The heart of every honest EnglishmanF
Beats high with conscious pride Both uncorruptC
Friends to their common country both they foughtC
They died in adverse armies TravellerG
If with thy neighbour thou should'st not accordC
In charity remember these good menH
And quell each angry and injurious thoughtC
