Weary Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCACA DEDEFGFA HIHIJAJA

Some praise the Lord for LightA
The living sparkB
I thank God for the NightA
The healing darkB
When wearily I lieC
With aching sightA
With what thanksgiving IC
Turn out the lightA
-
When to night's drowsy deepD
Serene I sinkE
How glad am I to sleepD
To cease to thinkE
From care and fret set freeF
In sweet respiteG
With joy I peacefullyF
Turn out the lightA
-
Lie down thou weary oneH
And sink to restI
Nay grieve not for the sunH
The dark is bestI
So greet with grateful breathJ
Eternal NightA
When soft the hand of DeathJ
Turns out the lightA
