Washerwife Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GHIJJ

The aged Queen who passed awayA
Had sixty servants so they sayA
Twice sixty hands her shoes to tieB
Two soapy ones have IB
-
The old Queen had of beds a scoreC
A cot have I and ask no moreC
For when the last is said and doneD
One can but die in oneD
-
The old Queen rightly thought that sheE
Was better than the likes o' meE
And yet I'm glad despite her graceF
I am not in her placeF
-
The old Queen's gone and I am hereG
To eat my tripe and drink my beerH
Athinkin' as I wash my clothesI
We must have monarchs I supposeJ
Well well 'Taint no skin off my noseJ
