Have heft a bonny broom | C |
- | |
There as amid the crass and crush | D |
The limousines swished by | E |
I would have leaned upon my brush | D |
With visionary eye | E |
Deeming despite their loud allure | F |
That I was rich they poor | G |

Aye though in garb terrestrial | H |
To Heaven I would pray | I |
And dream with broom celestial | H |
I swept the Milky Way | I |
And golden chariots would ring | J |
And harps of Heaven sing | J |

And all the strumpets passing me | A |
And heelers of the Ward | K |
Would glorified Madonnas be | A |
And angels of the Lord | K |
And all the brats in gutters grim | L |
Be rosy cherubim | L |
