To pay it back would take me yearsG
And so politely I declineH
Madame I think you speak in funI
Have you a gun '-
-
She smiled 'No weapon have I gotF
Only my virtue but I swearJ
If you don't hand me out the lotF
I'll rip my blouse let down my hairJ
Denounce you as a fiend accurst '-
He told her 'Do your worst '-
-
She did Her silken gown she toreK
Let down her locks and pulled the cordL
That stopped the train and from the floorK
She greeted engineer and guardM
'I fought and fought in vain ' she criedN
'Save me I'm terrified '-
-
The man was calm he stood aloofO
Said he 'Her game you understandP
But if you doubt behold the proofO

And as they stared into the carC
They saw his logic in a flashQ
Aloft he held a lit cigarC
With two inches of ashQ
