Rhyme Scheme: AABCDB EEFGGF HHIFFI JJKLLK MMFKNF OPQIIQ

My precious grand child aged twoA
Is eager to unlace one shoeA
And then the otherB
Her cotton socks she'll deftly doffC
Despite the mild reproaches ofD
Her motherB
-
Around the house she loves to fareE
And with her rosy tootsies bareE
Pit pat the floorF
And though remonstrances we makeG
She presently decides to takeG
Off something moreF
-
Her pinafore she next untiesH
And then before we realiseH
Her dress drops downI
Her panties and her brassiereF
Her chemise and her underwearF
Are round her strownI
-
And now she dances all aboutJ
As naked as a new caught troutJ
With impish gleeK
And though she's beautiful like thatL
A cherubim but not so fatL
Quite shocked are weK
-
And so we dread with dim dismayM
Some day she may her charms displayM
In skimpy wearF
Aye even in a gee string sheK
May frolic on the stage of theN
Folies B egrave rgereF
-
But e'er she does I hope she'll readO
This worldly wise and warning screedP
That to concealQ
Unto the ordinary manI
Is often more alluring thanI
To ALL revealQ
