Slugging Saint Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDADA EAEAFAFA GHGHCAACA

'Twas in a pub in BatterseaA
They call the Rose and CrownB
Quite suddenly it seemed to meC
The Lord was looking downB
The Lord was looking from aboveD
And shiny was His faceA
And I was filled with gush of loveD
For all the human raceA
-
Anon I saw three ancient menE
Who reckoned not of blissA
And they looked quite astonished whenE
I gave them each a kissA
I kissed each on his balding spotF
With heart of Heaven graceA
And then it seemed there was a lotF
Of trouble round the placeA
-
They had me up before the beakG
But though I told my taleH
He sentanced me to spend a weekG
In Yard of Scotland GaolH
So when they kindly set me freeC
Please don't think it amissA
If Battling Bill of BatterseaA
For love of all humanityC
Gives you a kissA
