Rose Leaves Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDEEE FGFGHH

When they shall close my careless eyesA
And look their last upon my faceB
I fear that some will say her liesA
A man of deep disgraceB
His thoughts were bare his words were brittleC
He dreamed so much he did so littleC
-
When they shall seal y coffin lidD
And this worn mask I know as MEE
Shall from the sight of man be hidD
To all eternityE
Some one may say His sins were manyE
His virtues really had he anyE
-
When I shall lie beneath my tombF
Oh do not grave it with my nameG
But let one rose bush o'er me bloomF
And heedless of my shameG
With velvet shade and loving laughH
In petals write my epitaphH
