Ommission Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGCGC HBHBGCGC

What man has not betrayedA
Some sacred trustB
If haply you are madeA
Of honest dustB
Vaunt not of glory dueC
Of triumph wonD
Think think of duties youC
Have left undoneD
-
But if in mercy hopeE
Despite your sinF
The gates of Heaven ope'E
To let you inF
Pray pray that when God readsG
Your judgement dueC
He may forget good deedsG
You did not doC
-
Ommission sins may beH
The bitterestB
And wring in memoryH
A heart opprestB
So when sweet pity pleadsG
Let us not rueC
Too late too late Kind DeedsG
We did not doC
