My Inner Life Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHIH EJEJKLML

'Tis true my garments threadbare areA
And sorry poor I seemB
But inly I am richer farA
Than any poet's dreamB
For I've a hidden life no oneC
Can ever hope to seeD
A sacred sanctuary noneC
May share with meD
-
Aloof I stand from out the strifeE
Within my heart a songF
By virtue of my inner lifeE
I to myself belongF
Against man ruling I rebelG
Yet do not fear defeatH
For to my secret citadelI
I may retreatH
-
Oh you who have an inner lifeE
Beyond this dismal dayJ
With wars and evil rumours rifeE
Go blessedly your wayJ
Your refuge hold inviolateK
Unto yourself be trueL
And shield serene from sordid fateM
The Real YouL
