My Holiday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFCGCG HBHBCICI GJGKGLGL CGCGGFGF

I love the cheery bustleA
Of children round the houseB
The tidy maids a hustleA
The chatter of my spouseB
The laughter and the singingC
The joy on every faceD
With frequent laughter ringingC
O Home's a happy placeD
-
Aye Home's a bit of heavenE
I love it every dayF
My line up of elevenE
Combine to make it gayF
Yet when in June they're leavingC
For Sandport by the seaG
By rights I should be grievingC
But gosh I just fell freeG
-
I'm left with parting kissesH
The guardian of the houseB
The romp it's true one missesH
I'm quiet as a mouseB
In carpet slippers stealingC
From room to room aloneI
I get the strangest feelingC
The place is all my ownI
-
It seems to nestle near meG
It whispers in my earJ
My books and pictures cheer meG
Hearth never was so dearK
In peace profound I lap meG
I take no stock of timeL
And from the dreams that hap meG
I make like this a rhymeL
-
Oh I'm ashamed of sayingC
And think it's mean of meG
That when the kids are stayingC
At Sandspot on the seaG
And I evoke them clearlyG
Disporting in the sprayF
I love them still more dearlyG
Because they're far awayF
