Laziness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJEKE LMNMOEPE

Let laureates sing with rapturous swingA
Of the wonder and glory of workB
Let pulpiteers preach and with passion impeachC
The indolent wretches who shirkB
No doubt they are right in the stress of the fightD
It's the slackers who go to the wallE
So though it's my shame I perversely proclaimF
It's fine to do nothing at allE
-
It's fine to recline on the flat of one's spineG
With never a thought in one's headH
It's lovely to le staring up at the skyI
When others are earning their breadH
It's great to feel one with the soil and the sunJ
Drowned deep in the grasses so tallE
Oh it's noble to sweat pounds and dollars to getK
But it's grand to do nothing at allE
-
So sing to the praise of the fellows who lazeL
Instead of lambasting the soilM
The vagabonds gay who lounge by the wayN
Conscientious objectors to toilM
But lest you should think by this spatter of inkO
The Muses still hold me in thrallE
I'll round out my rhyme and until the next timeP
Work like hell doing nothing at allE
