Last Look Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GGHHII JJKKLL MNOOPPII

What would I choose to see when IA
To this bright earth shall bid good byeA
When fades forever from my sightB
The world I've loved with long delightB
What would I pray to look on lastC
When Death shall draw the Curtain fastC
-
I've loved the farewell of the SunD
Low lapsing after work well doneD
Or leaping from a sea forlornE
Gold glad to greet a day new bornE
Shall I elect to round my dreamF
The Sun I hail as Lord SupremeF
-
Ah no Of Heaven's shining hostG
It is the Moon I love the mostG
And if when I shall cease to beH
God lets me keep one memoryH
Of loveliness that held me thrallI
The Moon's the one I would recallI
-
The new Moon fine as pearly clipJ
From Cleopatra's finger tipJ
The ripe Moon vaulting o'er the treesK
As ruddy as a Cheddar cheeseK
The late Moon frail and wanly fairL
Relaxed on silver rocking chairL
-
But most of all the Moon intenseM
With radiant indifferenceN
So placid glacid pure sereneO
Of all perfection proudly QueenO
Oh Mistress Mine let me adoreP
Your beauty but one moment moreP
One last look Let the Curtain fallI
Then let me look no more at allI
