Three TrianglesA
-
TRIANGLE ONEB
-
My husband put some poison in my beerC
And fondly hoped that I would drink it upD
He would get rid of me no bloody fearC
For when his back was turned I changed the cupD
He took it all and if he did not dieE
Its just because he's heartier than IE
-
And now I watch and watch him night and dayF
dreading that he will try it on againG
I'm getting like a skeleton they sayF
And every time I feel the slightest painH
I think he's got me this time Oh the beastI
He might have let me starve to death at leastI
-
But all he thinks of is that shell pink nurseJ
I know as well as well that they're in loeK
I'm sure they kiss and maybe do things worseJ
Although she looks as gentle as a doveL
I see their eyes with passion all aglowK
I know they only wait for me to goK
-
Ah well I'll go I have to anywayF
-
But they will pay the price of lust and sinM
I've sent a letter to the police to sayF
If I should die its them have dome me inM
And now a lot of vernal I'll takeN
And go to sleep and never never wakeN
-
But won't I laugh Aye even when I'm deadO
To think of them both hanging by the headO
-
TRIANGLE TWOP
-
My wife's a fancy bit of stuff it's trueP
But that's no reason she should do me dirtQ
Of course I know a girl is tempted toP
With mountain men a fussin' round her skirtQ
A 'andome women's bound to 'ave a 'eartQ
But that's no reason she should be a tartQ
-
I didn't oughter give me 'ome addressR
To sergeant when 'e last went on 'is leaveS
And now the 'ole shebang's a bloody messR
I didn't think the missis would deceiveS
And 'ere was I a riskin' of me lifeT
And thee was 'e a sleepin' wiv me wifeT
-
Go blimy but this thing 'as got to stopU
Well next time when we makes a big attackV
As soon as we gets well across the topU
I'll plug 'em accidental in the backV
'E'll cop a blinkin' packet in 'is spineW
And that'll be the end of 'im the swineW
-
It's easy in the muck up of a fightQ
And all me mates'll think it was the foeK
And 'oo can say it doesn't serve 'im rightQ
And I'll go 'ome and none will ever knowK
My missis didn't oughter do that sort o' thingX
Seein' as 'ow she wears my weddin' ringX
-
Well we'll be just as 'appy as beforeY
When otherwise she might a' bin a 'oreY
-
TRIANGLE THREEY
-
It's fun to see Joe fuss around that kidQ
I know 'e loves 'er more than all the restQ
Because she's by a lot the prettiestQ
'E wouldn't lose 'er for a 'undred quidQ
I love 'er too because she isn't his'nG
But Jim his brother's wot they've put in prisionG
-
It's 'ard to 'ave a 'usband wot you 'ateQ
So soft that if 'e knowed you'd 'ad a tupU
'E wouldn't 'ave the guts to beat you upU
Now Jim 'e's wot I call a proper mateQ
I daren't try no monkey tricks wiv 'imZ
'E'd flay be 'ide off quite right too would JimZ
-
I won't let on to Jim when 'e comes outQ
But Joe each time I see 'im kissin' NellA2
I 'ave to leave the room and laughlike 'ellA2
E'll 'ave the benefit damn little of the doubtQ
So let 'im kiss our Nellie fit to smotherY
There ain't no proof 'er father is 'is brotherY
-
Well anyway I've no remorse You seeY
I've kept my frailty in the familyY
