Home And Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFGFHDHD IJKJCDCD

Just Home and Love the words are smallA
Four little letters unto eachB
And yet you will not find in allA
The wide and gracious range of speechB
Two more so tenderly completeC
When angels talk in Heaven aboveD
I'm sure they have no words more sweetC
Than Home and LoveD
-
Just Home and Love it's hard to guessE
Which of the two were best to gainF
Home without Love is bitternessG
Love without Home is often painF
No each alone will seldom doH
Somehow they travel hand and gloveD
If you win one you must have twoH
Both Home and LoveD
-
And if you've both well then I'm sureI
You ought to sing the whole day longJ
It doesn't matter if you're poorK
With these to make divine your songJ
And so I praisefully repeatC
When angels talk in Heaven aboveD
There are no words more simply sweetC
Than Home and LoveD
