Grumpy Grandpa Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCACA ADADEAEA AFAFGAGA

Grand daughter of the Painted NailsA
As if they had been dipped in goreB
I'd like to set you lugging pailsA
And make you scrub the kitchen floorB
I'm old and crotchety of courseC
And on this point my patience failsA
I'd sue my old girl for divorceC
If she showed up with painted nailsA
-
Grand daughter of the Painted NailsA
Like to a Jezebel are youD
Do you expect to snare the malesA
With talons of such bloody hueD
I could forgive your smudging lipsE
Your scarlet cheek that powder veilsA
But not your sanguine finger tipsE
Don't paw me with your painted nailsA
-
Grand daughter of the Painted NailsA
Were I the sire of maidens tenF
I'd curse them over hills and dalesA
And hold them to the scorn of menF
If they had claws of crimson dyeG
Aye though they sang like nightingalesA
Unto the welkin I would cryG
Avaunt ye hags with Painted NailsA
