Ghosts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED FGFGHEHE CICIJCJC

I to a crumpled cabin cameA
upon a hillside highB
And with me was a withered dameA
As weariful as IB
It used to be our home she saidC
How well I remember wellD
Oh that our happy hearth should beE
Today an empty shellD
-
The door was flailing in the stormF
That deafed us with its dinG
The roof that kept us once so warmF
Now let the snow drift inG
The floor sagged to the sod belowH
The walls caved crazilyE
We only heard the wind of woeH
Where once was glow and gleeE
-
So there we stood disconsolateC
Beneath the Midnight DomeI
And ancient miner and his mateC
Before our wedded homeI
Where we had know such love and cheerJ
I sighed then soft she saidC
Do not regret remember dearJ
We too are deadC
