A Year Ago Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DEDEFE GHGHIH JIJIKI LMLMIM

I'm sitting by the fire tonightA
The cat purrs on the rugB
The room's abrim with rosy lightA
Suavely soft and snugB
And safe and warm from dark and stormC
It's cosiness I hugB
-
Then petulant the window paneD
Quakes in the tempest moanE
And cries Forlornly in the rainD
There starkly streams a stoneE
Where one so dear who shared your cheerF
Now lies alone aloneE
-
Go forth Go forth into the galeG
And pass and hour in prayerH
This night of sorrow do not failG
The one you deemed so fairH
The girl below the bitter snowI
Who died your child to bearH
-
So wails the wind yet here I sitJ
Beside the ember's glowI
My grog is hot my pipe is litJ
And loth am I to goI
To her who died a ten month brideK
Only a year agoI
-
To day we weep each morrow isL
A littling of regretM
The saddest part of sorrow isL
That we in time forgetM
Christ Let me go to graveyard woeI
Yea I will sorrow yetM
