A Lyric Day Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFGFHIJI KLMLNONO

I deem that there are lyric daysA
So ripe with radiance and cheerB
So rich with gratitude and praiseA
That they enrapture all the yearB
And if there is a God aboveC
As they would tell me in the KirkD
How he must look with pride and loveC
Upon his perfect handiworkD
-
To day has been a lyric dayE
I hope I shall remember longF
Of meadow dance and roundelayG
Of woodland glee of glow and songF
Such joy I saw in maidens eyesH
In mother gaze such tender blissI
How earth would rival paradiseJ
If every day could be like thisI
-
Why die say I Let us live onK
In lyric world of song and shineL
With ecstasy from dawn to dawnM
Until we greet the dawn DevineL
For I believe with star and sunN
With peak and plain with sea and sodO
Inextricably we are oneN
Bound in the Wholeness GodO
